Decifer Marketing is a product of Decifer, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The parent company and the wider group are at decifer.io. Where this page says “we”, it means Decifer.

This page covers decifermarketing.com and the Decifer Marketing product you sign into. Our sister products have their own arrangements.

Your account. Your name, work email address, and which company workspace you belong to.

What you connect. When you connect a source such as Google Analytics, Search Console, your store or your ad accounts, we read the figures needed to work out your decisions. Those connections are read-only. We never write back to your accounts and never change anything at the source.

What you type in. Figures and notes you enter or upload yourself.

How the product is used. Basic records of sign-ins and actions, so we can keep the service working and secure.

To produce your decisions, and to run, secure and support the service. That is the whole list.

We do not sell your information. We do not use one company’s data to serve another. We do not use your business figures to train any general artificial intelligence model.

Where you connect a Google account, Decifer’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In practice: we read only what your chosen connections need, we use it only to produce and explain your own decisions inside your own workspace, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it to anyone except as needed to run the service or where the law requires it, and we do not use it to serve advertising. Human beings do not read it except with your permission, to fix a fault you have reported, or where the law requires it.

You can disconnect a Google source at any time from your settings, and you can remove Decifer’s access from your own Google account settings. Either one stops the reading immediately.

We use a small number of companies to run the service. Each one only handles what it needs to:

• Supabase, for the database and sign-in
• Vercel, for hosting the website and the product
• DigitalOcean, for the machine that runs the site checks
• Anthropic, for the writing that explains your decisions
• Resend, for the emails we send you
• DataForSEO, for search figures that are not about you personally

These providers run in various countries, so your information may be handled outside the United Arab Emirates. We only use providers who commit to protecting it.

Each company’s data is walled off from every other company’s at the database level, not merely hidden in the screens. The keys to your connected sources are held in an encrypted vault, not in our code. More detail is on our trust and security page.

While your workspace is open, and for a short period afterwards so an account can be recovered if it is closed by mistake. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, unless the law requires us to keep a record.

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to be sent a copy you can take elsewhere. You can also ask us to stop using it. Write to hello@decifermarketing.com and we will come back to you within thirty days.

We use the small number of cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

Decifer Marketing is a business tool. It is not intended for anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell the people it affects.
